As some of you may or may not know, I have been playing soccer (indoor and outdoor) with the MC United Soccer Club for the past 5 years.
It was a long time coming change in my life to switch to a different team, looking for a different challenge (and who knows, get a shot at playing in Masters Major League).
Starting December 18th, I have signed and transferred to Canadians as their main goalkeeper.
Look forward to the 2009/2010 Indoor season with my new team; hopefully I will be able to find that lost love for soccer with the new guys.
Until then, Live Long And Prosper.

Well, it was a 3-day tour de force but it is finally over.
The 2009 ASA Outdoor Provincials (September 4-7 2009) have been the BEST so far for me as a Soccer Official (a.k.a. Referee). Aside from the usual stupid Masters Premier game where one of the team’s players concern was more about PISSING ME OFF than playing soccer, I was assigned 2 games in the middle for Tier IV and Tier III Men and 4 games as an AR (Assistant Referee).
Great games in the middle for me with very good running and a great improvement in my “angle of view”. As previously said, a very crappy Masters game as AR (NOT because of my fault) and indeed the pleasure of working with a new colleague from Calgary, Josh and the good pal from Peace River, Ken Loudon.
With great surprise, I was then assigned the Gold Medal Final for the Tier IV Women on Monday then SAR (Senior Assistant Referee) for the Bronze Medal game for the Tier IV Men.
Again, I am proud of an outstanding officiating during the Gold Medal Final but KUDOS to both teams for an extremely pleasant game for me to officiate.
Season’s now over but not for me as I have been selected to be part of the restricted number of Officials for the ACAC/UoA games, probably the highest level of soccer in Alberta.
Good times…

1st game of the 2009 outdoor season and first win for MC United Premier Masters team.
Pirates S.C. Masters vs Mc United Masters 2-3
Good game considering it was the first and some key elements of the team were missing. Unfortunate back-pass gave away the 1st goal for Pirates and stupid weird bounce of the ball gave away the 2nd goal for Pirates.
Penalty kick realized by Brian then an awesome pass ended in shot by Pete who transformed with a wide lob shot curving into the left corner of the opponent keeper then a great finish by the younger Richard (the englishman, not the mexican
) who solved a messy situation in the Pirates penalty area with a hard shot !
Good start, guys !!!

Well Folks,
as you can see, I got a brand new “personal” website which is exclusively about me and NOT about one of my previous “projects”.
As such, I also decided to get rid of the old Blog site and start anew with this new Blog, cleaner, clearer and more visually “me”.
Hope you like it, this will be my new home on the internet for a long time.
Oh, if you can tell which place is depicted in the two pictures, BIG KUDOS TO YA !!!
See ya all soon !!!
